Bailey and AEP Property/Bergin Field
The Bailey and AEP property comprises approximately 200 acres of land near Duncan Falls. The property offers a mix of hardwood forests, riverine wetlands, and open meadows. A 40-acre parcel was donated by the Bailey family to the Park District, with another 21 acres donated by American Electric Power (AEP). The remaining acreage was purchased from AEP with a grant from the Clean Ohio Conservation Fund. The Bergin Field baseball complex is under a long-term lease with the Franklin Youth Baseball Association. The property is currently undeveloped but offers limited access to Salt Creek and the Muskingum River.
Directions: Head south on Rt 60. Bergin Field will be just past the light at Bridge St on the left hand side.
